Lakea Shannon is a vibrant and dedicated member of our team, whose journey from cheerleader to aspiring fashion designer is truly inspiring. As a former cheerleader at Springman, Attea,and GBS, she not only excelled in her sport but also developed invaluable leadership skills, which she now imparts as a cheerleading coach. She choreographs winter dances and cheers for Attea Middle School. Her chipper personality and kind nature make her an outstanding mentor, fostering a positive and encouraging environment for her cheer squad. Currently pursuing a degree in fashion design at Columbia College Chicago, LaKea Shannon combines her creative flair with her passion for cheerleading, bringing a unique perspective to both fields. She is known for her innovative choreography and ability to inspire her team to push beyond their limits. Balancing her academic pursuits with her coaching responsibilities, she exemplifies hard work and determination. Her enthusiasm for fashion and commitment to her athletes reflect her multifaceted talents and ambitions. Colleagues and students alike appreciate her genuine support and uplifting spirit, making her a beloved figure within our community. As she continues her education, we are excited to see how LaKea will blend her love for cheerleading and fashion, paving the way for a bright future in both industries. She is excited to be a part of northshore elite for the 2024-2025 season and can’t wait to keep coaching the Inspire and Dream cheer teams!
